External Revision 2

PLATFORM External Revision 2 (external_revision2) For teams that run R2 outside the platform

  • New workflow step for customers who manage their R2 process externally

  • TOS creates real R2 jobs in a blocked state, with Matecat links

  • Export the jobs and handle the revision autonomously

  • Configurable at service type level

How to Use

  • Ask your account manager to add the external_revision2 step to your service type

  • R2 jobs are created in a blocked state as work progresses

  • Export the jobs and their Matecat links, then run the revision on your side

Benefits

Your R2 process stays where you want it while the jobs still exist in the platform, so volume and workflow tracking remain complete.

Matecat ICU Support in Service Types

PLATFORM Matecat ICU Support in Service Types Native handling of ICU complex arguments

  • New icu_enabled field in the service type

  • When set to true, Matecat natively supports ICU complex arguments: plural, selectordinal, select

  • The legacy_icu field remains available for backward compatibility

How to Use

  • Ask your account manager to set icu_enabled to true on your service type

  • Projects using that service type then use Matecat native ICU support

Benefits

ICU messages are handled natively rather than through the legacy path. New configurations should use icu_enabled.

Important icu_enabled and legacy_icu cannot both be enabled at the same time. Doing so produces a validation error.

File Upload Limit Raised to 5 GB

DASHBOARD New Order Form File Upload Limit Raised to 5 GB Large files, no workarounds

  • Maximum file size for job submissions via the new order form raised from 64 MB to 5 GB

How to Use

  • Open the new order form

  • Upload your files as usual

Benefits

If you work with large files, such as heavy PowerPoint presentations, you can now upload them directly instead of splitting them or arranging a separate transfer.

Enhanced Linguist Performance Overview

DASHBOARD Enhanced Linguist Performance Overview R1 and R2 scores, clearly separated

  • R1 and R2 EPT scores for each linguist are displayed separately and clearly labeled

  • The split reflects the distinct evaluation processes behind each score

  • Click an EPT score to drill down to the individual jobs behind it

How to Use

  • Open the Linguists jobs page

  • Read the R1 and R2 EPT scores per linguist

  • Click a score to see the jobs contributing to it

Benefits

R1 and R2 are evaluated differently, so reporting them separately avoids blending two different measurements into one number. The drill-down shows exactly which jobs produced a score.

New Date Range Picker

DASHBOARD New Date Range Picker Faster navigation across dates

  • Jump to any month and year through a dropdown and direct year input

  • Select start and end dates within a dual-calendar view

  • Standard presets such as Today, This Week and This Month remain available

How to Use

  • Open any view with a date range filter

  • Use the dropdown or type a year to navigate

  • Pick your start and end dates in the dual-calendar view, or use a preset

Benefits

Reaching a distant date range no longer means clicking back month by month. The presets are unchanged, so existing workflows keep working.

Bulk ID Input for Filters

DASHBOARD Bulk ID Input for Filters Paste up to 100 IDs at once

  • ID filters support bulk input of up to 100 numeric IDs

  • Applies to Request ID on the Requests page, and Job ID and Project ID on the Linguist Jobs page

  • Accepted separators: space, tab, new line, comma, semicolon

How to Use

  • Open the Requests page or the Linguist Jobs page

  • Open the relevant ID filter

  • Paste your list of IDs using any of the accepted separators

  • Apply the filter

Benefits

If one or more IDs do not match the expected format, the validation error names the exact value at fault, so you correct that one value instead of resubmitting the whole list.

Configurable Tag Columns in CSV Export

DASHBOARD Configurable Tag Columns in CSV Export Tags as real columns

  • Select up to 10 tag keys to export as dedicated columns

  • Available on both the Requests and Analytics pages

  • Each selected key becomes its own column header, with values filled row by row

How to Use

  • Open the Requests or Analytics page

  • Click the CSV download button

  • Select the tag keys you want as columns

  • Download the file

Benefits

Previously all tag keys and values were consolidated into a single column, because the number of tags per request varies. Dedicated columns make tag data directly usable for filtering and pivoting.
